Ya it looks like they added two cores on this and dropped 2 gb ram vs the jelly 2. Still keeps it useful enough though at 4 gb ram. a two year old mid line samsung A series only has 3gb vs this mid line phone. It's tempting me to try it instead of the usual brands

I've had mine for 3 to 4 months. The rubber that the mobile phone is surrounded with or is covered with has begin to peel away or de laminate. I did see a couple forums where other people had identical problem but I thought this issue may have been ironed out and fixed and it possibly wouldn't happen with my new phone. It hasn't been fixed. Prepare for a atom to begin shedding its skin after a few months.

@@burntsky64 I'm just currently releived that the buttons are still stuck and they havent fallen away or the screen hasnt fallen off. I'm using it daily still. Bit of a shame as I love the form factor of it with its small size. Did you contact support and request a new phone or anything like that?

I am very happy with it, but makes me sad to realize how small the market is for these kind of phones. I needed something for adventures, something that can stand the Finnish weather. People talking about cameras and how small it is, like that is not the point. Phone has already survived my antics, I made a case for it with a 3D printer, -26C and it keeps working. This is what I am taking in adventure tours, it's not good as a primary phone, this is not a phone for photos, or using whatsapp, this is a tool phone; you look at the GPS, watch some videos on the trail, listen to music, while under the rain, frost, etc...

If it had 5000 mAh battery and had 720p/ 1080p quality and 3inch display, it would be more charming. The latest virson of atom Xl is not so Good in looking for Silver design. The black colour with red border is better than it. If you can launch an xl mobile like previous small atom mobile it will be more beautiful. Please launch a new xl Mobile like the little atom in 2021.
