Hey Omotola, welcome to my channel. Thank you for the questions and you're welcome.🫶🏼 I was grateful for a place to stay. I think it's important you know the hostel was new when I was in 100 level. So the experience was cool. Most of us were 100l students, we weren't so many. There was just one block. Life was sane. There was 24hrs light most times (whether Unilag has light or not, there'll be gen. In my opinion A four man room is your must economical and comfortable option. If you have that, you have your comfort space wise The major issue to me is the management staff. They think they own life. You have scenerios where hostel officers and students are at it and she's threatening to slap them They could be rude to both parents and students They'll threaten you with not allowing you to renew rent. In summary, you're not treated like a client. They are in charge And omooooo renew rent on time becauseeeeee.... they can just do anyhow. The day after rent expires used to be very somehow Overall, I'll pick ulws everytime over the hostels currently in Unilag. If you just dey your dey, you're fine and when i remember the wahala of bedspace and school hostel in Unilag, i was grateful for the hostel

The rooms may have issues but it's never anything extreme. Again, i launched the hostel, i was in the same room from 100 -300. So I was using the room "brand new". I had the same roommates. If anything spoilt, it was one of us, and they sha fixed it So my experience with maintenance might be different from an aspirant

Unilag women society hostel. It is at DLI. If you don't know unilag that well just ask for the DLI and from there ask for Women society. My advice will be to go at the end of a session when finalist are moving out. It gets full quickly

@@samanthas_pov aww, don't worry, I am cool with all the questions. 8 woman room is the highest. it used to be 1, 2, 4 and 8 but they have added 6 woman room for the new session. I don't know if you saw the room tour but that is basically bunk beds on one side (4) +single beds on the other (2). and they have different rents

Hey Uchenna. Welcome to my channel I doubt. Your best bet is at the end of a session. When final year students will be Moving out. Or when diploma students finish exams You can also go and ask if you can drop your phone number so they'll call you if there's any space. It fill up quickly
