This has to be your best video yet Ben. I really enjoyed that and I can see you did too. I've driven a lot of Mercedes commercial trucks and they haven't always been the best in my honest opinion but the Unimog is an entirely different animal. I'd love a go in one of those. That Vario dash is a really interesting concept too. The exhaust break I find sometimes on a down grade on a wet road can be too strong and risk locking the drive wheels but the unimogs AWD and off road tyres clearly meant that it wasn't phased one bit. Outstanding work Ben. Well done!

Thank you Mark, ah yes you’re familiar with this type of tech, the other thing is, everything was steeper than the cameras portrayed. That’s interesting to hear, the exhaust brake was my favourite feature, I can imagine it’s time and a place. That beast is pretty much unstoppable - I highly recommend you do, it’s unforgettable.

@itsruf1 I can’t be any clearer google SMMT test track, it’s not like they’re anything significant - this was Mercedes Benz’s co driver on their approved test route. I avoided the ducks thats what really matters. Watch our latest Grenadier video off-road on a private estate maybe that’s a better fit.
