What I like the most about this channel is that I not only get to experience unintentional ASMR (which, for me, is the best type of ASMR) but I also always learn something new from the videos.

Hey! I was looking into the analytics of my videos and figured that a link from someone (which turned out to be you) is the biggest source to my channel, very specifically this video. I have never known about it until now! lol And wow you have gotten over 1M views!! I guess I should thank you, and I do not blame you for editing my original video and uploading on your channel as you do not monetize the video nor discourage my content/channel. The funny thing is I thought this was my original upload at the first glance and wondered to myself “why would I title it “unintentional” myself if it’s really unintentional…” haha

I’m happy that you were able to see how popular this video became! I’ve watched multiple videos from your channel and had wondered how you were doing. Glad you are well. How strange is it to know that a random person (myself) from Pennsylvania watches this video multiple times a month in order to relax or go to sleep? Lol 😂

Jesus, newspapers are so old now. It used to be that I had to get the newspaper every few days to pull out the tv schedule just to know what shows were gonna be on when I was at home. I even had to memorize certain channels like 99 was nickelodeon for so long while something like 45 or 42 was Disney Channel and 89 was animal planet. Now I can just press the guide button and see what shows are where and at what times - even the shows on right now. Of course I watch less cable TV now that netflix and hulu and all these online services are available. But still, talk about the good ol' days.

Japan has a very robust print culture. Bookshops are everywhere as well. Probably because they mostly commute to work on trains as opposed to driving in a car where you have to keep your eyes on the road. It also helps that they have very high literacy rates. Americans pretty notoriously don’t read for pleasure on the whole.

I am now genuinely curious on why native East Asians tend to end an unfinished sentence with "yeah" when speaking English. As a Chinese myself I've witnessed countless situations where my fellow Chinese people do the described thing, and now I hear a lot of the same thing from the original uploader. Probably because we usually imply a lot in our daily conversations in our own languages, and we keep that tradition when speaking English, yet being silent for a while in English feels awkward, so we tend to fill it in with "yeah"s?
