Nature photography is incredibly meditative. I've spent 4-5 hours outside in the heat, rode 17 miles on the bike, and it only felt like an hour or two. You lose sense of time when you focus on what could be the next sell worthy shot.

Once when I was at my aunt and uncle’s house on the bay, I was walking outside and I saw a deer. And when I pulled out my phone to take some pictures of him, he made eye contact with me, nodded to me and then just stood still as if he knew what I was doing. And then, when I was done, I nodded to him to let him know that I was finished at which point he nodded back to me and then went back into the woods. It was truly a surreal experience.

What a beautiful experience! I think animals are way more smarter than we think. They just don't understand us and don't know how to communicate. But I really think they have some intellect. Maybe we don't know how to measure it!
@nathanielschwartz4254 ай бұрын
@@bam8473 I couldn't agree more with you. You also have to keep in mind that the world that humans have created is VASTLY different from the natural world that wild animals are raised in so they don't have as strong of an understanding of this modern world as we do. So, they certainly have to be more careful when approaching a human. And so, to be able to communicate with that deer like that and to have him understand me and communicate back to me was truly a special moment.

Hi, I just wanted to say that this was in no way intentional. In order to be able to capture better photos and videos of these animals I needed to speak quietly and whisper so that I wouldn't scare them away and so I could get a lot closer. I did not know what ASMR was until someone discover my channel and said that they found it relaxing to watch. My hobby just seems to work well for those who enjoy ASMR. Cheers, Jake.

The lad made the video to look at wildlife. He's whispering so as not to frighten the wildlife. He didn't intend to trigger ASMR in people, and possibly had no idea that ASMR is a thing. Then some people, such as the curator of this channel, came across the video and found that it triggered ASMR for them. Therefore, it's unintentional ASMR.
