I love this guy. No BS click-baity thumbnails, no annoying commentary, just gameplay. And it’s always on some obscure game you’ve never heard of but are always intriguing and usually free to play yourself. ABG may not have commentary, but you get hints of their personality just through the way they tackle a game or little in game mannerisms they perform. This is pretty neat. I like the amount of interactivity, sound effects and lo-bit aesthetic. Thought it was going to be an homage to the classic PC game of the same name, but I'm glad it's its own thing. Cool stuff!

I love everything about this little game, from the artstyle, the sound design, the music to that bittersweet ending. I came here expecting to be scared but in the end I was moved by the emotional impact the cousin's suicide had left around the house.

One can actually feel the amount of effort from developers of the game. I love the variety of sound effects, and a hidden story behind classic "run through Slender Man forest, collect drawings" mode of play. PS 15:35 - I felt that "huh? o_O" moment :D

it’s a interesting mechanic, to prevent people from going in and out of hiding spots unnecessarily. Unluckily for abg, they did it when the fireflies went back to normal glow so it seems like a random wtf moment

I really like how Mr. Smith is set up to be an unreliable narrator from the start ("I wouldn't wish that place on my worst enemy... I didn't warn them not to go in") which foreshadows the reveal that Nora wasn't actually killing them, while letting it seem that way for tension as you play (and honestly the ending really adds to the humanity too, like whether you think Nora actually killing them is justified or not, her actual choice is much more--for want of better words--humane and optimistic, not what the seemingly quite spiteful Mr. Smith wanted)

I like the twist that Nora was technically beating up her bullies as a ghost and not actually murdering them. Shows that despite what she went through and how her life ended she had a good heart and only set out to humble the ones that picked on her

You play unique games and play them in an entertaining way (still love how you danced and twerked in that Cosmic Horror rave lol) and you don't have annoying commentary with overacted personality BS, like IGP for example. I love watching your stuff as much as, say, Ross Scott's Game Dungeon. It's become a regular part of my "doing chores" playlist. Keep at it, man. This isn't the only game called "Uninvited." There was one on Macintosh and NES way back, in 1990. I had a copy on NES, maybe I should have kept it, it was supposedly Cartridge #250. But it's all water under the bridge now.

Heh. Never thought I would hear "Close to You" by the Carpenters as someone's music box, much less in a (horror) game. That's more surprising than the kids canonically surviving getting crunched into like apples by an adult-looking ghost of some poor girl who killed herself when she was a preteen or at most young teenager. After that Backrooms game you played, I was expecting there to be a "shocking twist" that the father had killed the mother himself given how tall the ghost is. Nope. Turns out the "shocking twist" is just that death causes a hell of a growth spurt for children apparently. Grim joking aside, this game looks fun and well-done even if there are apparently some issues with how difficult the ghost actually is to evade going by other comments. I wonder if those will get fixed or polished up later if true.

For all wanting to try this game for yourself, i just wanted to say that it is difficult, mostly because it is a bit janky. Nora is generally faster and can spawn as fast as you when entering rooms, meaning most encounters where you try and go in a different room will likely end in a restart, since Nora is likely to spawn right behind you when you enter another room. Also in some rooms the AI of Nora can get stuck on certain objects for a bit, so that can be used as an advantage. One more thing about the sweat mechanic, what the game doesn't tell you is that after roughly 40-50% of sweat is reached, Nora will not wander around the house and will mostly stick to the general area close to the player until they find them, but you can still hide in closets. After the sweat meter turns red, Nora beelines towards you and you cannot hide anymore. Game isn't bad, just a bit of polish and bug fixing is needed.

@@acrj-alfasaus4825 they dont help as much as you'd think, it can sometimes get confusing to figure out in which exact room she is in (in rooms with multiple doors) and you have no clue if she is going to come in yours or not, plus the sound she makes when chasing can often bug out and keep playing in the run with the next character (until you enter a chase again where it returns to normal) making it harder to hear.

I like the story. Three bullies make a foolish decision that actually makes them better people on the path to redemption. However, the gameplay is hit-or-miss. The sweat mechanic needs balancing and it can be pretty easy for the ghost lady to unexpectedly catch up to you. Maybe a couple of patches and playtesting can help.

Its unrealistic nature largely defuses the horror but its childish cuteness makes up for it with a strong sense of nostalgia. Fun fact: watching this game finally made me realize what Alice In Chains really meant with the title of their Jar Of Flies EP...

I call 'em like I see 'em, and this game looks bad. Both in the "is ugly" sense and the "looks like it isn't any fun" sense. And the writing's not good either. Credit where credit is due, though, opening Nora's little cave in the attic was trying to be sad and it succeeded. Shame about, uh, the whole rest of the game.
