I just want to say this is a superb lecture series. Although admittedly I was looking for lecture videos on single variable real analysis (while this module seems to focus on multivariable real analysis), Prof Feinstein has a real talent for breaking down difficult concepts. Thank you Prof Feinstein and the University of Nottingham.

R-d as a set is very different from R-d as a vector space, set has no structure (a powder. of points) while vector space has a lot of structure, maybe unrealistic in most physics applications (like space-time is not a vector space)

What are the prerequisites for this course - is this an introduction to/first course in analysis?

Knowledge of set theory and basic calculus is assumed. That's the only prerequisite for the video.
