@KozmicPlays for me currently it really boils down to deciding if having more of a late game threat at the cost of consistency is worth it. I also wonder if the Yachiru to make Kenpachi stand is a bit of a trap. It's a decent amount of hand setup required for a deck that doesn't have much drawing and sculpting abilities compared to other decks.

I did the change you had talked about: -2 Machi&Feitan +4 Grandpa and it worked quite well. The main downside was I did miss the early Machi to be able to do combos earlier

I've been having consistent wins because when I'm just focusing on Phantom Troupe. Boardwipe your opponent while maintaining your own is scarily good. Shalnark into Paku to have her as energy and then sidelined to draw 1 is great deck thinning. And the fact Paku is a 0 energy card means she can be an early game energy or disposable chump blocker to replace herself. Not to mention 1c Hisoka making the solo swingers/defnders early on to be worthless and nothing mentally messes with someone more than 1000 bp character connecting early on.

I like the phantom troupe deck, it got really fun mechanics. Im thinking about reducing the feitans too but the combo with chrollo is too good

ruling question does impact +2 the same as 2 damage you checked both at the same time and they get to resolve the order ?

Yes it counts as two damage being dealt so both would get revealed at the same time

I’ve been playing this deck this past week against bleach and hisoka and it’s very fun tho I run a more phantom approach playing with mainly 4 energies and rushing to swing early with double damage and making it unblockable with hisoka. I believe C1 hisoka it’s worth running and it’s one of the main pieces to make the deck great.

The deck can have a defensive trigger if you are on a more PT build since copying Nobunaga specifically can stop an entire attack (unfortunately never as good as Ichigo just... killing the thing) but that also means being forced into Skill Hunter which is just not as good. It's a really bad catch 22 which is stopping the deck from being great IMO.

If you mean the SR, it has a very niche application. It can be very good against decks that require double energy in the back if you're able to control the game early enough that it disrupts their game plan completely. That said, its very rare to see that come up and the high energy requirement on top of taking 2 AP holds it back

Damage 2 is largely meaningless in this game unless it comes with some other value, like I mentioned during the illumi section. It's ultimately too inconsistent against better players and falls short until we see more 5k bodies become relevant in the format and the meta slows down

​@@ravenologiesim sure you noticed by now but I use both in the video and it's because I have an issue pronouncing names most of the time as I don't use a script for any of my videos. To this day I still say "Asuka" wrong (you can check my old BSS videos) despite being an Eva fan for 30 years.
