Govt of India is generously giving aid to many countries at the cost of the middle class, pensioners. Cost of living, medical expenses and GST taxes on all the items are pushing the middle class into poor class. This govt is determined to have only two classes Rich and poor not always struggling middle class to meet both ends.

Nothing much can be expected ... Truly exploiting the middle class and lower middle-class citizens of India. After paying all the taxes (TDS) 33.3% plus an avg 18 to 20% GST across your daily expenses, you end up with nothing left over for your retirement, no wonder why the voting percentage was low as well as higher NOTA votes.

If they bring exemptions into the new tax regime then it would be similar to old. They brought a new tax regime so that people can't claim fake exemptions. without understanding these they are discussing what exemptions should be added in the new tax regime

Whatever they are tLking about is still for the poor. Increasing standard deduction to 1L will increase monthly income by Rs 400- 1,250. This is not enough.
