Have multiple days on this binding now. After 32 seasons on a board I've finally found the binding I've always wanted. It's amazing how far the tech has come. Perfect amount of board feel, playfulness, lateral flex, and ability to drive power to the edges. And that ankle strap is insanely comfortable. Just bring back the yellow color way please!

Toe buckles have been upgraded. Thicker aluminum base with better threading.

Has Union finally sovled the everlasting problem of the heelcup sliding backwards after a couple of runs? If so: I am interested. If not: not so much ..

Yes, all new Union's come with our "Astro" washer to prevent the heelcup from sliding. Small detail that can be found inside the washer and heelcup.

How’s the foot bed padding, more specifically the heel area? Tried the strata last season and was surprised to find they really beat you up by end of day. footbed looks all soft and comfortable but then when you press down in the heel you can feel there’s only like 2mm of rubber and then hard plastic right underneath driving shock right into your quads on heel side chop.

You should check out the Union Ultra. Full padding under the heels and toes. Zero plastic.

@@Jfromes1 is there a point you're trying to make? You could distill just about anything down to "it's ____ made in __". In this case, it's forged carbon, aluminum, nylon fiber, and rubber made in Italy so that you can attach your feet to a piece of wood and fiberglass sliding down a tectonic plate uplift from millions of years ago for fun. That's is pretty dope.

The new Falcor uses Envalior Durethan Blue which is a bio-based, mass balanced nylon. Yes, more "fancy" than typical plastics found on bindings. You're welcome.

"the falcor has two ideal riders, the beginner and intermediate because its flexy but also the veteran" honestly all these companies nowadays say the same thing, that their binding or board or boot is for literally everyone from first day ever on snow to seasoned pro cause they want sales to go up. They literally want noobs to make the mistake of buying a product suited for an expert. I mean why can you not just say falcor is for intermediate and up, and the ultra or Flite is for beginners.

Wow, can you be anymore closeminded? Weird how NBA player’s pro model shoes are sold to everydaypeople who are beginner players and it makes no difference. The flex of these is great investment if you have the money instead of buying lower model bindings.
