I just don’t understand the need for this from any brand other than to market to maybe beginners? There’s absolutely no need for step in bindings if you snowboard.

Takes me about 20 seconds per run to strap in. I do what like 25 runs a day? Not even 10 minutes out of my day to strap in, to the most comfortable optimized binding for me, the Union Ultra. Not hate just not for me.

Burton has 5 models (for men), 10 if you include wide, DC has 4, Nitro has 2

@@fudhater8592 i am lucky that burton photon fit me, if i wanted to change. I try 39 different boots to find that. Seeing what i mean? You should still choose your boot before your binding or you take risk of taking less fitting boots to comply with a gimmick

Cant get past the bulky 'special ed' looking boots. I went the the Nidecker carbon that takes any boot.

Actually think this may be a wrong step for union, looks like a potential partnership with the Burton Step on trademark. The Burton Step-Ons are not known for the same reliability of associated with Union bindings. For a superior stepping partnership option I would have hoped to see that with Clew bindings. I've seen significantly better reliability reviews for that step in brand. I fear the unreliability of this system will lose a lot of loyal fans including myself. Hopefully union can create an over the toe and boot option for this binding at least for the sake of safety, have seen some gnarly accidents on the Burton Step on side. Definitely not buying this anytime soon.

Clew is awful garbage. Nidecker is the only company making a decent strapped step in bindings. The Burton step in bindings are fantastic for what they are, give them a shot before you knock them.

DC are wider in toe box than Burtons in my experience. If Burtons dont fit your foot well they might be worth looking into.

you should find boots that fit yopur feet before chosing bindings...else you might pick boots that don't fit ideally just for the gimmick

I have tested the new Union Falcor during a trip to Kitzsteinhorn. I was riding a Amplid Soulmate 157 and new Burton Ion Boots from this season. The bindings really felt top notch! The strap quality is amazing, feels super light on your feet - Board control just perfect. The overall flex of the is just right - I have no complaints and therefor can 100% recommend them if you are looking for a premium binding for all mountain riding. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gracie Union!

I think there was a huge opportunity missing here in term of the graphic. Like imagine putting the 3D CAD drawing of the engine into the base and the topsheet is the trace of a lambo, like showing the top is the chassis and the base is the engine. Just a plain purple snowboard with some straight lines is Lamborghini? c'mon!

Love Capita and Union and love the Falcors. But these limited edition luxury brand collabs always seem to be more about looking good than riding good. You have to dig really deep to get to any specs of the board.
