Has Union finally sovled the everlasting problem of the heelcup sliding backwards after a couple of runs? If so: I am interested. If not: not so much ..

How’s the foot bed padding, more specifically the heel area? Tried the strata last season and was surprised to find they really beat you up by end of day. footbed looks all soft and comfortable but then when you press down in the heel you can feel there’s only like 2mm of rubber and then hard plastic right underneath driving shock right into your quads on heel side chop.
@UnionBindingCo2 ай бұрын
You should check out the Union Ultra. Full padding under the heels and toes. Zero plastic.

"the falcor has two ideal riders, the beginner and intermediate because its flexy but also the veteran" honestly all these companies nowadays say the same thing, that their binding or board or boot is for literally everyone from first day ever on snow to seasoned pro cause they want sales to go up. They literally want noobs to make the mistake of buying a product suited for an expert. I mean why can you not just say falcor is for intermediate and up, and the ultra or Flite is for beginners.
@UnionBindingCo2 ай бұрын
That's just how Travis sees it. We do recommend this binding for intermediate to advanced riders. " This high-performance freeride/freestyle snowboard binding is designed specifically for Travis’ aggressive riding style and is ready to take on the biggest lines and the steepest spines."
@IHatePikeys2 ай бұрын
Wow, can you be anymore closeminded? Weird how NBA player’s pro model shoes are sold to everydaypeople who are beginner players and it makes no difference. The flex of these is great investment if you have the money instead of buying lower model bindings.

@@Jfromes1 is there a point you're trying to make? You could distill just about anything down to "it's ____ made in __". In this case, it's forged carbon, aluminum, nylon fiber, and rubber made in Italy so that you can attach your feet to a piece of wood and fiberglass sliding down a tectonic plate uplift from millions of years ago for fun. That's is pretty dope.

The new Falcor uses Envalior Durethan Blue which is a bio-based, mass balanced nylon. Yes, more "fancy" than typical plastics found on bindings. You're welcome.

Yeah, its looking nice, but... Please if you want to take this sport seriously dont go lazy with this one. Bindings are so loose on base plates after one season. After couple of uses I started have issues, and I can say, crampus are really useless. Just dont waste money on this
Hey Union... how about some answers. When you slide the binding over to adjust stance width, which holes in the disc do you actually use? When centered over a hole, you obviously use the center one. When moved over 1/2cm, you obviously use the one available hole in the insert pack. But when the binding is moved over one full centimeter, you have four options. 4x2 pattern (inner holes), outer holes, holes to the left, or holes to the right.

Please make the pucks out of aluminum. I have had a set gouge out letting the binding twist while riding. Also in ski mode the binding can fully extend allowing the ski to come off if your not careful. Otherwise a great design and the ride quality is nice cheers

Do you use EST screws on channel boards when you’re using a camber disk or do you use the normal camber disk screws? I’ve had people say you use the EST screws but in this video it looks like there just normal camber screws?
