thanks for posting! 844 is over 100mph fast but in these videos is rather slow, why? greetings from Italy Rome.

I imagine there are others wondering also. They are restricted to running at speeds set by the railroads at any given time. There may have been a freighter in front of them only doing 35, as an example. Maximum allowed is currently 79 mph, if I am not mistaken...but they certainly can't do it at their own whim.

I have the understanding they no longer beat the 844 hard just because it is capable of running 100 mph. There is no point in it and it only causes high maintenance costs.

Qué hermoso ver esto, y pero tan triste que en mi localidad solia pasar pero el maldito gobierno dictador en 1976 aproximadamente lo levantó y desde entonces no funciona mas. Siento mucha impotencia 😣😔
