Do you think any plastic manufacturers will make any of the UP business cars?

I’m not too sure. I wish they would. A lot of manufacturers seem to shy away from making new items. Sometimes stuff like that is a one off and could flop because they are catering a select few in the hobby. If the tooling was able to be used for other road names then I think they’d go for it. For instance the UP theater car really can’t be used for other road names. Lionel can get away with it because they make CAD drawings and advertise them in their catalogs to see what kind of feedback they get from preorders. If the preorders are soft, they just don’t make them. Lionel can also offer them in other fantasy paint schemes. The only manufacturer that I think would maybe attempt that is maybe Walthers. That is because they have made the BNSF business cars and the fact that they have the UP heritage line up. If MTH were still doing HO models I think they would given them a shot. The reasoning behind that is because they made the George Bush funeral baggage car in 2018 or 2019. All we can do is hope and send them emails.
