I use it as a windbreaker and also on rainy days. I've worn it on runs before. I wouldn't consider it active wear though. Try looking into the dry fit line up from Uniqlo if you want stuff design for workouts.

Do you have any comments about the hood? Previous review complained that the 2018 variant's hood brim was too short so rain would fall on your face.

I can see that being an issue for some. I've worn it in the rain and didn't notice that. I guess it depends on head size as well.

@@EricTMeraki UK Uniqlo does some crazy deals at times. I picked up 2 pairs of skinny jeans (in black and grey) for £12 each, and a pair of navy chinos for £9.90. Their active joggers are on sale for £19.90 right now as well. I got 2 - in navy and dark grey - and they are the best active/gym pants I've tried.

UNIQLO recommends to hand wash it with cold water.

It is light but not that breathable. Try looking at Uniqlo Dry Fit or Airism instead.

I think when you wash a raincoat, it is also very wet. So raincoat is not water repellent. So blocktech maybe better
