I just shove it in the bag and go. Now I have another jacket that doesn't come with a bag and I'm after another sack to use with that one.

If you have a Uniqlo storefront in your area go there and ask for one. I did this for a larger jacket a few years ago and they had a spare they gave me.

Wouldn't a compression bag work better?

If you feel that works best for your needs that is an option. When I bought this I was staying in a hostel and the idea of someone crinkling a compression bag would not go over well and I feel the bag that comes with it does the job.

This one is listed out as "Navy", there is another one pretty close that is "Blue" with a slightly lighter hue.
