Timetable: Coalville Junction
Located on a roughly busy road in the day and not so busy at night this is a crossing with I think the longest NRS barriers in the UK. This part of Leicestershire I’m not to keen on especially now after being right next to a break in to a Super Drug, that’s what that alarm was thought the first closure as I explain In the video this crossing is soon to be upgraded which is quite disappointing as these barriers are quite unique now a days.

Excellent videos! These barriers will never be forgotten, as I hear they've been replaced now! Must be quite unnerving being round somewhere like that so late at night, especially given the burglary that happened nearby, but still, it allowed you to hear those amazing groans from the barriers so much better! 👍👍😁

Hmm it was scary tbh when they raced passed us, Unfortunately I never filmed them going past otherwise I could of given that to The police.

Great video and crossing! Shame the equipment here has since been upgraded. Almost sounds like something in that one barrier's mechanism jams when it lowers.

Hmm I know right it is quite a shame that them barriers have gone.

@@UKLCSandT IMHO, with the way the barrier mechanism closest to you in the second closure sputters out when lowering, it almost makes me wonder if something was jamming in it.

Those barriers are INSANELY Heavy! They also bounce a lot when raised! The barriers have to stop when lowering at a certain point! And did it kinda malfunction at the first raise/lower?
