From today you can claim Salvage Yard vehicles that you aquire through the robberies. These unique GTA Online vehicles will also feature unique license plates and are VERY cheap to aquire.

i think if the plates were readily available they wouldn't be as desireable. i remember when they added the romero hearse to the website it's cool factor dropped off big time.

This is the reason we can only play 3 robberies a week? If this is the case, why not just let us play as many robberies as we want with one vehicle every week being the hot pick like how the Comet S2 Cabrio is for this week? That way, we can still have fun playing the robberies without exploiting them just to get cheap vehicles.

And only just that car to be bought? I have a car saved up in a spot i wanted to get but no only that car with a rare license plate. God damnit rockstar. God damnit.. like before this all the cars could be bought and rockstar could flip the switch on all of them but no it took them from start of the update till now to do it like you got to be shiting me when it's only one car they will allow

You know if this would've come out so many years ago I would be all for it, but since I have so many cars I just don't feel the need to claim the vehicle at the Salvage Yard. I would rather just sell it and make some money. Its nice that the option is there if you just want the car for yourself and not have to spend so much money buying it.

In addition to being able to keep a robbery car, the Mctony Robbery was fun knowing I would get to keep the car for 10k. A very nice surprise!

2:45 You can change the plate a little bit because if you have a custom plate you can change it to anything under that plate and you won't lose it.

With vehicle editor you can change the text and it saves (buy any upgrade after changing the text)

I've been playing this game sooooo slowly since 2013. Tonight, I participated in my first mission in a player's crew. I did my first drag race too. Won the podium car in the casino. Still have never finished the story. PS5 is an entirely different experience. The lobbies aren't completely exhausting. I mostly would just spawn in my penthouse, spin the wheel, and then drive around and collect cars. I've been surviving off of that wheel and the stipend I got when I first downloaded the game on Xbox One ages ago lol

The plate is unreleased on ps5 also but it doesn't get wiped I have 30 liberty city cars with Benny's

@@_Diamond-Dog It can be saved on console, but pc can't. That's also the reason why many console players trade their plates in some discord car-trading channels but no pc players doing that.

It took so long to add this feature that I've made so much money from the heist that I can just buy every car each week from the websites for a long time. But I will admit some of these cars can't be bought which is nice but the fact I can't buy them in the first place is a different issue that's already been hated on

Yep they still reset every single week so there's only 3 robberies per week

Whatever you do! do not mess with the plates in anyway otherwise they'll disappear. even if you just change the text. THEY WILL DISAPPEAR WHEN YOU SWITCH SESSIONS!

I only claimed this car for the plate, but since loging out, and logging back in, the plater is gone, it's just the standard san andreas plate, now. And I can only sell it for $62k, not the $300k Yusuf would pay me. If you've got a Comet S2, the cabrio is far worse, this car is not worth claiming.

you can change it, but the custom livery, plate are gone once you switch them

Im looking at this from the perspective of selling my car and then paying the fee to keep the stolen car. Ill have to upgrade it again, but depending on the car, thats pretty good profit.

I don't always follow GTA news, it's been a few weeks since I watched a full video on it but I swear last week or so I saw a few videos complaining about personal vehicle sale payouts being nerfed. I wouldn't be surprised if this was exactly the reason they nerfed it knowing rockstar

@@damienmcdonald7610 yes ur right they nerfed payout but kinda not really. You still get the same sell price as before, but if you want to get full price for another car you want to sell, you gotta wait I think like 18 hrs or so. If you dont, I think the sell price drops down to 50% instead of 70% which is what its been. And then a third car would go down to 30%?? I can't remember the numbers its just lower. So that wouldn't really affect this. Just affects car dupers.

you can change it if you have a custom plate number on Rockstar website. But the plate style will disappear after restarting the game.

@@Poke-laddyeah I agree I think they literally put that in just to have another option and add more to career challenges. A bit of a wasted opportunity really they could've used it to link the parts to vehicles in other businesses or had certain clients looking for a list of specific parts over time but I guess too much effort for them

That it's so hard to get is the whole reason it's so wanted. Regardless of what it is. Just putting it out there for sake of ((Just so you can have it without having to do anything for it)). Completely ruins it's value. And just like that. Even you wouldn't want it anymore by than. Or just buy a copy of someone else's van.

So youre telling me I held on to a Civic for a unique plate for an eternity waiting for this feature (that was advertised pre dlc launch as part of the marketing btw) of the salvage yard to be dripfed to only be able to buy what rockstar permits me to buy??
