Unique collaboration brings world-renowned pediatric surgeons to Alberta

Dr. Saleh of the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton invited world-renowned pediatric surgeons, Dr. Alberto Pena and Dr. Andrea Bischoff, to oversee two highly complex surgical cases performed in Alberta. Traditionally, these patients would have been sent to the United States, requiring families to travel to receive surgical care and be away from home for extended periods of time.
