There’s a Reddit thread of some guy who managed to disassemble the Backbone to accommodate the iPad Mini. Looks awesome but quite a specialist job.

hey Oliur, can you use Backbone with case on? problem that I have with these are the compatibility when using them with bulky cases. like UAG Pathfinder or OtterBox commuter for example.

I was able to get rid of the leather staining on my Belkin charging station by using a Magic Eraser, takes a few minutes but gets rid of it entirely!
