The stacked closets are for "future" elevator installation. The sub-floors are designed to be knocked out to accommodate the elevator. This is common in newly constructed large homes. It give the homeowner the option to install the lift as they age or for convenience.

It was an elevator previously. Maybe the elevator broke and they didn’t want to spend the money to repair/replace it.

It would be more reasonable around $1.7 Million with all the work that needs to be done. The small backyard is for someone who doesn't want the up keep of a larger yard. It would probably be a better choice to build your own custom home for 2.5 million rather than buying a previously owned house for 2.5 million in it's current condition. I'd rather build one completed to my own specifications at that price then to buy it and then have to spend additional funds to fix it properly and then to my specifications. And if that was a elevator, I'd have to put the elevator back in... LOL! But thank you for the tour, great job as always!

That is a beautiful house in the works. It is pretty clear to me (without doing some digging) that contractors / builders bit off more than they could afford to complete. While the colors are now outdated, they could be brought to modern contemporary easily at this point before completion. Still a good price for the house in that location and it deserves to be finished. The house to the east isn't looking too good with what looks like water damage / sun damage to the stucco.

On September 26, 2019, Gorenje Group, owner of ASKO Appliances, voluntarily initiated a safety recall of select ASKO dishwashers in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada. The ASKO dishwashers affected by this safety recall were manufactured in Slovenia between October 2016 and September 2017 and were sold through ASKO’s authorized dealer network in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The recall affects approximately 26,600 units in the United States, as well as 4,300 units that were sold in Canada.

Regardless of the price tag for the house, any house with bedroom(s) above the master bedroom is a big NO for me. Well, that's just my personal preference though. Besides, I find the bed position for this house master bedroom is kinda odd, it is either facing or beside the access door... why would I put my bed facing or beside an access door? The master bedroom is a show stopper for me, without needing to comment on the rest of the house and design. Having said that, I love watching your house viewing videos, and there are a few that I personally feel are really nice. If I'm looking for a house in Vegas, you are definitely my go-to guy.
