The stacked closets are for "future" elevator installation. The sub-floors are designed to be knocked out to accommodate the elevator. This is common in newly constructed large homes. It give the homeowner the option to install the lift as they age or for convenience.

Agree, I don’t like the layout. I built two homes and I wouldn’t design it like that. Too many busy sections like hide and seek situation, I don’t call it a backyard, it is too small. I would have put the swimming pool area and main living at the very top with the strip view but no way this design is a $2.5M. Certainly below the standard of a $2.5M home

Awesome home! Too bad the elevator wasn't installed. The asking price 2.5 Million to high for a unfinished product. It would be more reasonable around $1.7 Million with all the work that needs to be done. The small backyard is for someone who doesn't want the up keep of a larger yard. The one bathroom seems very narrow too bad they didn't enlarge it. You could really make it your own. Love the architecture!! Great home tour Chakits!! 🥰

It would probably be a better choice to build your own custom home for 2.5 million rather than buying a previously owned house for 2.5 million in it's current condition. I'd rather build one completed to my own specifications at that price then to buy it and then have to spend additional funds to fix it properly and then to my specifications. And if that was a elevator, I'd have to put the elevator back in... LOL! But thank you for the tour, great job as always!

That is a beautiful house in the works. It is pretty clear to me (without doing some digging) that contractors / builders bit off more than they could afford to complete. While the colors are now outdated, they could be brought to modern contemporary easily at this point before completion. Still a good price for the house in that location and it deserves to be finished. The house to the east isn't looking too good with what looks like water damage / sun damage to the stucco.

It's a beautiful home. The browns and beiges suit the home. Especially with the beams and cabinetry. I'm not crazy about homes that sit at the foot of a hill with another home on top of the hill. (Anyone remember all those multi-million dollar homes sliding down the hill in LA about 15 years ago?) Also, I need more of a yard. I know it's extremely hot in Vegas, but I still need outdoor space. Definitely need to install that elevator with all those levels. Not sure why they would take that out on a home of this caliber.

The wood on the counter is cracked. It is leaning due to the loss of humidity in the wood. It should be replaced. On September 26, 2019, Gorenje Group, owner of ASKO Appliances, voluntarily initiated a safety recall of select ASKO dishwashers in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada. The ASKO dishwashers affected by this safety recall were manufactured in Slovenia between October 2016 and September 2017 and were sold through ASKO’s authorized dealer network in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Regardless of the price tag for the house, any house with bedroom(s) above the master bedroom is a big NO for me. Well, that's just my personal preference though. Besides, I find the bed position for this house master bedroom is kinda odd, it is either facing or beside the access door... why would I put my bed facing or beside an access door? The master bedroom is a show stopper for me, without needing to comment on the rest of the house and design. Having said that, I love watching your house viewing videos, and there are a few that I personally feel are really nice. If I'm looking for a house in Vegas, you are definitely my go-to guy. Thank you, Chakits.

This reminds me of the buildings in the original Jurassic Park movie. Similar architectural style.

Love the color brown....earth tones very rich and warm in lieu of whites and gray tones are cold to me but it's the in thing, I guess!

Should a $2.5million home have the same closet buildout as a $150k home? No, it should not. Yet this one does.

I see a lot of homes like this i Vegas with a weird /non traditional entry. Like usually homes have a prominent from entry but In Vegas a lot of homes front door is like behind an alley or tunnel of sorts. Gotta walk through and behind some walls to get to the front door which actually looks more like a side entrance lol. Nice house tho.
