Best time to visit is in the summer as this river is prone to flash flood during the monsoon season. How to get to San Jose: By Air - Take the 45 minutes flight from Manila to the only operational commercial airport in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. By Land and Sea - Overland route will take you to Batangas Port for the RoRo (Roll-On-Roll-Off) ship to Abra De Ilog Port in Occidental Mindoro. From Abra De Ilog, it's 4 to 5 hours drive to San Jose. - Partas Bus in Pasay City, RoRo Bus and Ceres in Marikina City ply the Manila to San Jose via Batangas Port daily.
