Actually, my experience is that using power armor makes Aeternus way worse. Every time I used up a fusion core in my power armor, my ammo count would go to all zeroes and I'd have to drop and pick it up again to be able to fire it again.

I usually never use upgrades or outfits. I found it funny that I'm rocking an X01 suit, Aeturnus, and the Duster from Nuka-World after I went there. Worst part is I saved that section for last, so I restarted my game and just went there. I learned the hard way why most people say don't visit unless you're level 30. I'm level 41 now just from the visit! lol

The problem solver is unique. The furious legendary does not spawn on ranged weapons naturally. Problem solver/splatter cannon are the only two.

That kinda depends on who you side/work with. If you're working/siding with the Minutemen by the time you start Nuka-World (and want to keep preston as a companion), than it's best to do so when you get 'The Problem Solver' (whether you intend on using it or not, its just nice to have) because while you can get perks for finishing 'Power Play' you risk losing Preston as a companion, and making the minutemen hostile (if thats possible). If you've decided to side with the other 3 factions, than its best to start it after 'Power Play', so that you can get the perks by siding with the 2 factions you want, as well as getting the weapons they give you. Just make sure that if you want Aeternus that you start 'Open Season' after getting it, as it will be alot more difficult to get it.

my main character is getting use out of Splattercannon. my dumb luck character is getting use out of The Problem Solver, Throatslicer, Sword of Wonders & Cito's Shiny Slugger. my Melee build is getting use out of a Big Boy Nuka-Nuke Launcher....Oh yeah! Sword of Wonders, Cito's Shiny Slugger, Throatslicer, I just got the Quantum Grenades & Aeternus for her but she'll get use out of them soon enough & I've been going back & forth between Grognak's outfit & Wildman Rags. my Solider build has been betting good use out of The Problem Solver, Throatslicer & Hub's Alien Blaster whats crazy about that blaster is my solider build has a luck of 1 & he is getting crits in three shots with it, I can't wait to get it with my hand gun agility, luck build it maybe my new favorite weapon.

*facepalm* the aeternus does NOT have unlimited ammo, it puts all of the fusion cores in the Gatling laser making it consume ammo from one of them at random. Just look at your ammo tab and look at the durability on the cores.
