I definitely agree with Lynch about physical media. I loved going to the record store on the day of release for an album I've been waiting for (still do sometimes ). Looking at the cover, checking out the credits and shout outs to find new artists. That's how I discovered a lot of music i listen to today. Say i like the production on a track, i see who did it and next time in the store, I'd be looking for that guy. Or just going through the section alphabetically and see an artist i remember getting a shout out, so i pick it up to check out.

Love EBK4, my second favorite Lynch album after Season and just slightly ahead of Loaded. Honestly his N**** Deep to EBK4 run was legendary. 5 classic albums of straight 🔥. Plus the work he did on Psychoactive and Bloccstyle was incredible. 90's West Coast underground belonged to Lynch.

I wish i had most of my original CDs, but had a bunch of them stolen. I do still have my Lunch and Sicx "N Deep" that i got in 2001, cuz even then it was hard to find and i had to special order it. Because of that, i made a copy to play, but kept the original safe at home.

That cover was dope. Definitely a waste of a cover since he didn’t get to finish the album. Good none the less. A stared at it numerous times looking at all the detail fascinated how it was done. I love the physical copies!! I miss looking inside the cover at the extra pics and the credits. I’ll still try to support the streams but I love the CDS tapes and vinyl. Shout out to Soren! Excalibur alone is the reason EBK4 is my second favorite Lynch album. Once upon a time a long time ago, I was sticking 9 milli up in dem pussy holes. One of my many arrests the officer saw the cd and grabbed it asking me how the hell i could listen this.He showed the cd to other officers on the scene who all seemed shook by it.They stripped my car and found my weed and I was pushed around by many pigs all the way to jail.Lmao that cover of lynch shooting through a pillow didn't help me at all.BTW the pigs took it away as it was not in my ride when i got it out of the impound.

Uhhh, that's so disheartening to think what could have been. I remember when I first seen the advertisement for it (in Murder Dog Mag iirc) and anticipating copping it, upon first listen I remember being somewhat disappointed in it in terms of how some of it sounded, it wasn't til later on reading about Lynch not being the one to fully put it together or endorse it that why it was the way it was.

The cover of EBK4 is one of my favorite album cover arts, so it's interesting seeing Brotha Lynch Hung actually explain the art's story. I've always wondered what the 4 in EBK4 stands for though. Is it supposed to be a replacement for the A in "KILLA", or Is it some sort of reference to a group or place that I just don't get, or is there another reason for the 4 being in the title?

I feel like if Brotha Lynch Hung was going to reference his 24 Deep album, that he would call his new album EBK24 instead of EBK4, but that's just me.
