Great interview. Tat was on point musically. I remember how upfront, intricate, dynamic Tat's cuts were. I listened to track "certified dope" over and over for the parts he's cutting up "pick up the pieces".

What people dont realize is the art of scratching diminished because the records being used are considered samples and could cost you. Getting all them cleared would leave you penniless nowadays.

@@box5bastard277 Thanx! I don’t know how I never caught on to all of this. My eyes were glued to Rap City with Chris Thomas. I was a Hip Hop Junkie an’ miss out on the whole beef. 8:11-8:20 You are absolutely right Steady B did Diss the Acknickulous in “Attitude Problem”... By Steady B I actually never heard of this song or really paid close attention to the album cover. 1:56-2:21 It does have his name on it but a picture of a woman. “I Gotta Habit” I do remember that one with the 3xD look alikes. “Funky Dividends” was released in ‘88 or few months before “Glamorous Life” in ‘89... Michelle replied ((Michelle): When I was with Steady be , I had it all: Gucci, Louie Vaton, gold, Liz Claiborne. I had it all. You ain't giving me nothing. And in “Glamorous Life” Michelle replied You know what Cool? When I was with Steady B I had everything I was rolling phat Livin' large I had all the luxuries in life But when I was with that nut, EST He didn't give me nothin'.
