They are only for few short summer months and also need a garage, before you buy one make sure you have a garage first, then the second thing to make sure is will it be worth it to buy it for just summer driving and will you have another vehicle to drive in winter? Mustangs are very expensive to drive and also expensive to insure especially if you are young like me, younger drivers pay more insurance and then this is considered a sports car which is also more expensive to insure. I have a truck I drive in winter and I have a garage. But I’ll be paying a full year’s insurance for the mustang that I will only be able to drive in summer which is very short time in Canada and then it goes to garage for a long snowy winter. I would say it would be cheaper to rent these for few days and head to the beach have some fun, than paying insurance for a year then storing it in garage, also if you’re like me and want to modify it, then it will be thousands of $ to do that too. Mine has no big issues but just the AC not working is costing me a lot to fix. Mustangs are expensive to repair. Also not very reliable according to the mechanic I work with.
