I used to be an avid Nike Football Boot person. I had like 3 different pairs of mercurials (even the classic black and blue tick mercurials from like 2008/2009). But that all changed when I bought my first pair of Adidas boots. It was the 2010 inverted colour World Cup Adizero boots. Basically it was the all yellow Adizero's that Arjen Robben wore. Those boots are what hooked me onto Adidas, I think I used my Adizero's throughout my whole High School life... because they were that good! So looking at the new Predator Mutator 20.1 all I can say is that it looks amazing!

He said he's 'played' in them for two months but they look like they're just out of the box. I'm an aggressive defender and my boots are scuffed all over from other's cleats. I've gone from the last of the F50's to the 17.1 and think this is a good step in the synthetic evolution (being a leather guy growing up, I love synthetic and am not going back). I'm just concerned that other people's cleats will tear off these rubber teeth. Performance aside, that wouldn't look very good. But the idea of those grippers! The spin, curve, english potential is off the chart on this boot!! Probably worth trying for that alone! Just wondering if the next gen 21.1 and 21+ might have Demonskin too.

So as Jay claimed, wide footed players can be accommodated as well. I HIGHLY doubt that. Firstly, I have tried these and i have a normal to wide foot and the midfoot WILL give you cramps. Secondly, Jay has a narrow foot so it begs me to question on what basis did he claim it accommodating for wide-footed players. He's selling boots for the company so it sometimes annoys me how he is not 100% honest about these things but you can't blame him for this.

Personally I find the FG/AG studs too long for AG surfaces. I hope my predator 19.1 AG boots last at least one more season (April to September here in Finland) and that Predator 21`s would come with ”real” AG models again.

yes u can, but from my experience, depending on the boot that u wear, boots with a more aggressive stud pattern will ache more after the game. I would personally recommend u use boots with a less aggressive stud pattern

I don't have the boots but they probably do provide good enough grip as I think Adidas knew that the fins would fall off and needed a plan B. It certainly wouldn't provide as much grip as the fins though. Depends on what you consider as enough grip though.
