After being outfitted with determination-infused fists, courtesy of Alphys, Monster Kid is willing to take revenge against the one who killed his idol.
All of the rainbow things are full of determination and the beams are just made of its pure essence.
Fyi: the reason that the last attack fails is due to the fact that although alphys infused determination into the fists, she was never able to get rid of the kinks from using such a heavy amount at such a large speed, therefore the attack ultimately fails.

Very nice; this is a lot better than the first version! The extra variety of attacks and the improved sprite for Monster Kid made it a lot more interesting to watch. Some nitpicks: wouldn't Undyne be dead by this point? There could also be more variety in the dialogue after the story the kid tells finishes, although I admit I'm not sure what could be added. Frustration and fear as his health gets low maybe? I also have a couple ideas for even fancier attacks: when Monster Kid's one hit away from death, he could start launching fists and using rainbow beams at the same time. The rainbow beams could also come from multiple directions as the fight goes on, and fists could be blue or orange sometimes like one of the other commenters said.Overall this is pretty good (certainly a lot better than anything I'd have the patience to make), and I'm looking forward to that v3 you mentioned in the comments.

I have a suggestion if you care, haha. So, after you defeat Undyne in the genocide path, you hunt down Monster Kid. You obviously beat him due to his weak form, but then he proceeds to take on another. With pure determination and his strong desire for justice, he made this strong form. *I can't believe it.. *UNDYNE is gone. *....and it's YOUR FAULT.

For an EX/Genocide Character to actually be considered a threat, like how you're trying to make him sound, I think he'd probably have to do more than 3 damage. Undyne the Undying and Sans are so hard because if you fuck up you actually fuck up. The first turn you got hit you got hit 3 times. 3 whole times. 63/72. If you messed up like that on those other fights, you'd have to consider healing or trying your best not to get hit next turn, but inevitably healing or dying. This isn't bad, and it seems you've put some effort into it, but for the fight to even appear challenging, you might want to ramp up his damage a bit. Also, you could say he's just a kid and so doesn't do much damage, but with the current backstory you're going with he'd have no reason to have poor damage.

Here are some of my problems: *I know that literally EVERYONE said this, but Undyne is already dead. There is no need for monster kid to say they will protect her when she was already killed by you, and it kinda makes no sense that Undyne trained Monster Kid for his attacks, unless she did it before she died. But that doesn't really make too much sense, either. *I don't really understand why Alphys hired a KID to attack you. I know someone already said this, but i don't really understand this. Overall, the battle is pretty decent, just a few flaws in it. Good job!
