I've never had a bad time on United -- first, economy, E+ -- but when I splurge, my problem with the experience is it's never consistent. Offerings vary widely based on what route, what plane.

Totally agreed, it’s a hit or miss soft product and even as we see here hard product with outdated seats

Wow 5 A380s! You should do a series comparing A380 business class.

Ha! That would be wild. I’ll need some donations to make that one happen

Sitting in the front is always a luxury, glad I can do it occasionally and review for everyone.

I’d be interested to hear about bulkhead vs last row when it comes to recline. While someone can recline into you in the last row, on the other hand you can recline at your discretion without disturbing anyone else, yes? Or is the pitch large enough such that no one cares? (Last time I flew United First, it was transcon and in one of the sleeper seats, so recline was not an issue.)

I definitely preferred the last row for recline because of that exact reason, at your discretion. It does get a bit tight when the person in front reclines into you though.
