The long term problem with Plan G will be the guarantee issue will will overhwnelm the plan with people requiring higher medical care/costs, which will cause higher premiums for all on the plan! Plan N has no guarantee issue so rate hikes should be less over time.

The specific high-deductible Plan F that I'm looking at says covers 100% of plan a deductible $1,408 for 20 20 year benefit. Covers 100% of the yearly Part B deductible $198 in 2020..... Does that mean you don't have to worry about your $1,408 deductible before the plan kicks in? And does that mean you don't have to pay your Medicare part b $198 a month this plan covers it? So all you have to worry about having Medicare part A B and high-deductible F is the monthly premium which in this case is $72.22? Please help!

Robert, I have United Healthcare (AARP) Medicare Advantage. My PCP retired last month without any notice, so I have been looking for a new Doctor. I went to the UH Website Provider List and after several phone calls to their Doctors Offices, I have been told that all of them are not accepting new patients. Even though they are shown as accepting new patients. I called UHC and asked for a provider referral from them. After giving them my situation and plan information, I asked for an in network Doctor referral and was put on hold. After waiting for many minutes, they hung up on me. Do you have any information on what is going on with UHC?

There are a number of states where excess charges are not legal - check that out. If you live in one of those states, your excess charges are zero. That will not be applicable to you.

please... I was told HD plan f has a $2300ish deductible, and HD plan g has a $1400ish deductible.. is that true or false? Details please thank you

Thank you for your question. Both high deductible F and G have the same deductible which is around $2300, however this deductible is not like a traditional deductible. If you go to the hospital you will have to pay the $1400 Part A deductible each time until you satisfy the $2300. However, if you do not go to the hospital and you only use part B Services, then once you pay the Medicare Part B Deductible of $198, medicare pays 80% and you pay the 20% until you reach the $2300, then the high deductible Plans F and G will pay your 20%. If you are ok with some cost-sharing but want to be able to choose your Providers and not deal with the other downfalls of Medicare Advantage, the Plan N is an affordable option for you. -Bob - 1-855-368-4717 www.MedicareBob.com

I received a letter on June 6th telling me United healthcare been trying to reach me by phone even though I never got any calls from anyone. I was going to loose my insurance benefits that I have to sign this paper for this representative from Benny link to represent me to re-enroll me even though my insurance just started that month and I was told I had automatic enrollment. I call united healthcare out of Georgia because that's where all my paperwork usually comes from. This letter was different address and state. They inform me to sign the paper or I will loose my insurance they did not know why I got it but to sign it and send it back in the enclosed envelope so I did. Then I get a booklet and paper telling the coverage of my new healthcare account and it was the same as what I had the dual complete then a couple days later I get a letter saying Medicare confirms that I may leave my plan? Somebody re-enrolled me but they put me in a lower insurance that I have to pay co-pays, I lose my $175 OTC, I lose my gym membership and I now have to pay for my medicine. I also have co pays now. Nobody would help me at united they just kept saying it's the state's fault the state says it's their fault. Medicare says it's the state's fault, job and family will not tell me who changed it they claim they don't know. I was never notified of my account changing this came right after I filed a complaint. I had to resign up for the plan I was already in but it won't go in effect till next month and I don't even know what insurance I have currently they never sent nothing out on it. United healthcare claim it's not their fault and they're not going to help me resolve this they kept laughing in the background and running me in circles won't let me file a complaint. Then they don't know how to file a complaint so I ask for a supervisor just to be put back to main menu then they kept hanging up when I called back. They illegally changed my account without my permission and I lost all my benefits for the month because of it and nobody will help me resolve this they just tell me I'm screwed there's no way for them to do anything. I thought the lady was RE-ENROLLING me back into the same plan not changing my insurance to a different plan with no benefits whatsoever. I filed a complaint and a appeal got the number for the appeal so I wait a month just to call back asking why nobody called me yet and guess what there is no record of me calling, filing a appeal or a complaint?? So I did it again and made a complaint on each person I talked to so far since nobody knows how to do there job and I wrote everything down they probably deleted it as soon as I hung up though. I have all the information written down names days what they told me. I asked for a copy of the complaints to be sent to me by mail or e-mail but they said they don't know how to do that its not a option they have...Lie...Now I get a letter that they will not cover my emergency room visit when I fractured my toe. All these things on this paper they will not cover you for so explain to me people what do they cover??? You basically can't get hurt anywhere or they won't pay if you're at home they expect the renters insurance to cover it only problem is renters insurance only covers what's INSIDE the apartment so no they will not cover this because I was outside. If you're on somebody else's property they expect that other person's insurance to cover it so where can you be and get hurt because you can't be in your automobile or then it's your car insurance that's responsible so tell me where can you be when you get hurt and they will cover the emergency room visit? I sure wish I knew what to do about this.

Why AARP (UHC)? The plans are the same...meaning a plan G for one company is the same as a plan G for another company....why? Because Medicare owns the plans....the insurance carriers are just allowed to sell it....and for any price they want. Here's a quote from zip code 77479, single female, nonsmoking, no household discount.....$1297 p/y for cheapest company......$1452.72 for AARP p/y. Ask yourself this....what extra are you getting for $155 in overcharges....answer....nothing. Don't let an insurance company rob you.
