Turkish should fly to Brisbane. We are heavily underserved compared to Sydney & Melbourne and our international terminal is too under utilised. In saying that, although our airport is ok, our city has gone downhill in recent years, so we need to do more to lure tourist and airlines back. But with more international airlines returning could bring some much needed life support into Queensland. Our city is undergoing a massive operation for the 2032 Olympics.

I have a pretty negative view on "Boeing becoming a leader." Airbus is talking about the new designs they want to work on while Boeing will be tied down for years trying to fix their current problems. I don't see how that situation gives Boeing any path to becoming a leader. I see Boeing in danger of falling into the same situation as McDonnell Douglas in the 1980s. That is to say they didn't have the resources to keep up with new designs and they spent their last two decades just making variations of their existing models.

United is getting hit so hard this year 3 things in just a few days. Man I hope everything can get fixed
@Blank007 ай бұрын
To be fair, only one of those things is on United maintainence. The other two are the fault of the airport. One of these incidents, the airport failed to clear the airspace of bubble wrap, causing an engine to ingest it and catch fire. As for the other incident, the runway excursion was caused by overspeeding a turn in response to ATC ordering pilots to not slow down.

Three times a year in long haul 777 is a figure given, which is around 20 times in 7 years? 787 CC-BGG has been in service for 8 years. . It would have been through at least two C checks.
