Welcome to the United Roman Republic. This is Part 1 of my New Series, and do hope you enjoy it. : )
In this episode, I introduce you to our characters, War is declared, and an election takes place at the end. Who will be our Next Faction Leader?

This RolePlay theme is different from other youtubers' series, such as Legend of Total War. I try to make it more just like a normal let's play, but with fan interaction, and with a character focus.
How to Vote:

!! IMPORTANT !! If you have downloaded the mod before the writing of this comment, do so again now and install that one, overwriting everything if you have already done so. Someone by the name MexTex977001 in the comments here pointed out that my mod had a crash once long campaign victory conditions have been met, playing as Rome. This has now been fixed, aswell as updated to the version you see in this video, minus the changes made for the roleplay specifically. Thank you to MexTex977001 for telling me. If anyone else does find any other bug or crash let me know and give me all the details you know and can offer, I will try my best to fix those problems.

The mod is as close to vanilla as possible and no, there won't be an IOS version as I neither have an iPad, nor the game, nor the knowledge about how or if it is even possible to make mods for that platform.

But if you do not, I will make your soldiers slaves, as well as there families.” Theophylaktos laughed. “I will never make shame of my post by surrendering to Marcus, who’s army is nothing but organized Barbarians! I will not surrender to you nor any Roman, as long as Greek blood runes in my veins!” “So be it Theophylaktos, Captain of Messana, you bet hope to die by blade, for a worse fate awaits you if you surrender.” And with that Marcus turned back to his camp, and Theophylaktos back to his city. And soon battle would upon them, as the Greeks would taste Roman steel.

Nope. It had to feel like Vanilla for simplicity, but a couple of changes to keep the viewer engaged. If I went with a Mod, then that turns off the people who do not care for the Mod. I gain the people who do like the mod, but that is far far fewer.

Hi Melkor i have installed stainless steel 6.4 mod for m2tw and when i click to start and early era campaign it takes me directly back to the previous menu.......also when i try to change to late era in the ss setup menu i get an error reading cannot create temporary file operation aborted any idea what might be the cause of this

Very Hard Battle, and Hard Campaign. (Lowered by one as it's really impossible to do the RP side of things on Very hard)

@@Matiss2428 It's mostly to do with the diplomacy. On Hard, an alliance is more likely to hold and mean something, whereas on Very hard, it becomes illogical.

Sometimes you can do. If I am just playing the game, I just accept everybody. But in te RP series, it's about characters and interesting characters so I play it slightly differently.

anyone know how to make this game not run like hot garbage on a modern system? I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and 2070S but on battles with more than 30 units total the fps dips as low as 18. Compare that to warhammer 2 where I maintain a steady 60 fps at 1440p with max units on the field.

@@MelkorGG Thanks for this, it helped a little. FPS still tanks from 80 to 30 whenever I move on the campaign map, but I think battles are a little smoother. Hard to tell.

@@spinspir1741 the latest version, the one you see in this video (minus the roman change to fit the roleplay, as Melkor requested", is not public yet. I did change a few things in this that the current public version does not include, but I will upload it as soon as possible. Sadly the one that is up as of writing of this comment has a bug that causes a crash once rome hits long victory conditions, as another person in this comments section pointed out. However it seems that I did find the cause of that bug and have fixed it, it will be included in the new upload. Expect it in the next hour to be online.
