Some of you guys probably weren't born yet or remember that the Liverpool fans gone through a similar situation with Steve McManaman as they are now with Trent A A. If I'm not mistaken McManaman was one of the very first free agents after the Bosman ruling, for sure Edgar Davids moving to Juve from Ajax was the first player to ever benefit from the Bosman rule. I don't think McManaman was a scouse but he surely was the Liverpool and England posterboy before Beckham. They will never have a problem with Salah moving abroad because he's no scouse or English.
