I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

Can you guys do a 3 team tournament where you draft pokemon (18 pokemon types) and the pick decides what typing is eliminated, then that typing can't be used anymore. If it's a duel typing then you decide which type of it is eliminated. A snake draft is key obviously. Would be so cool to see which typings you guys value most, and which pokemon in that typing you value highest. Also cool to see how you counter picks!

How about: Choose your Starter by its trainer ? Like, look if the Pokemon is used by a trainer, gym leader, elite 4, random NPC who stands on the side of a road and only tell (maybe show with picture) the trainer from a game or anime or manga. And if a Pokemon wasn't used by a trainer, choose one standard-NPC-Trainer who would fit. Like Dottler could be used by a Bug Catcher.

Tournament idea Randomised Starters. Normal abilities. Have to take all 3 if any at all. Can pass them on. If you pass them on, if the next person takes them the set gets 1 x Illegal Move or 1 x Any Ability. If they pass it on, 2 x. If they pass it on 3 x. Etc. It can find its way back to the first player. The catch, zero players know how many times it has been passed on, unless you have seen it for a second time. Whoever takes the set, the next person in order opens the next set.
