This killed my dad at age 51, he was a hard atheist all my life. 1 year before he died, God moved him into my house (miracle within itself). He mocked me and my wife for loving Jesus. The miracles God did in our lives was on display, and it always terrified him. 7 days before he died, he cried out to God for repentance for a life of Sin, women, drugs, alcohol, 8 marriages, and much more. All that praying and fasting was presented to God and he answered me. Trust in God, his plans are more fabulous than we can ever imagine. Praise God in all things, good and bad

THIS DOESNT MAKE SENSE... Please HELP... I love to hear how deeply moved people are about Jesus, the Prince of PEACE!!! But it feels so ... sad and disconnected when I hear that people loving on Him and not conscious to the IMMENSE suffering that his fathers cows are suffering so we can satisfy our desires to eat dairy(cream cheese). I just dont see how we overlook a HUGE part of the impact we are having on God's creatures. Each mother cow has a human jam his arm into her to artificially inseminate her on a piece of equipment called a "rape rack"... when her baby is born, she is taken from her and both mother and baby are screaming. She will never see her boy again as he is taken to a small crate not to develop muscles and to be slaughtered within 6 months to produce veal. If mother gave birth to a female, that little girl will be raised to produce milk like her mother. After mother gives birth 4x she will then be slaughtered and her daughter will take her place.. for what?? DESIRE... we do not need to eat the flesh and fluids of God's beautiful creatures. Jesus never ate the flesh of animals... Can you see Jesus being a part of this? Can you see Jesus holding a cows neck up to slit its throat then to rip its body apart and cut all the parts up, blood, guts falling to the floor? Can you HONESTLY see Jesus doing this when its 110% possible to THRIVE on a Vegan diet.. Eating from Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Please.. honor and love all life that has the same feelings as us... same desires to be free.. same desires to love their family, friends, etc... Please.. it is destroying us.

Robin Hood I understand where you're coming from, and of course we aren't supposed to be cruel to animals, but God has given us meat to eat. After the flood the earth wasn't able to sustain vegetation as well as it was before it. And God said "1 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. 2 The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands. 3 Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it" (Genesis 9:1-4). It is clearly not a sin to eat meat. What it means by "lifeblood" is that you have to hang the animal upside down and drain the blood out of it by cutting its neck open. And if you want a New Testament verse too it's this "42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he took it and ate it in their presence" (Luke 24:42-43). This verse is speaking of Jesus who ate meat. And there's also a whole section about how it doesn't matter if you're a vegetarian or a omnivore in Romans. Whatever you choose to do, to eat meat or not, it isn't a sin.

I am happy you share "of course we aren't supposed to be cruel to animals," But Casey, there is ABSOLUTELY no possible way not to be cruel when taking the life of an animal against its will. In fact the animals you eat are denied every freedom, peace, joy and GODS INTENT for them when you choose to hear their flesh or fluids. If you have ever had a dog or cat you would clearly understand that they ALL want love, peace, protection, freedom and they will protect you as you protect them. They have empathy, compassion, loyalty and love. There is no denying that. So what is the difference between a dog and a cow or pig or chicken or boy or girl? There is NOTHING ... only the more dominant species saying " we have the right to eat your body against your will, we have the right to artificially inseminate you and then take your children from you, take your milk from you, put you in warehouses stacked to the ceiling, cut your life short for something we dont NEED but rather we want to satisfy our DESIRE"... For the MOMENTARY pleasure of the flesh or fluids of animals gliding across our tongue we are inflicting a LIFETIME or rape, torture and eventually slaughter.. Keeping them from the TRUE intention of life that GOd did give them. With all due respect brother, I think we are not in a time when we can look to those words and truly believe they are so. If you would like we can go through the entire Bible and see some of the things that are shared about women, killing your son, slavery, etc... Things that we CLEARLY are aware of that are NOT APPLICABLE and not in the true spirit of what we collectively know to be acceptable. Please consider what I share about animals.

I lived in a Christ centered treatment centre (Windsor Life Centre) for a year after being lost in addictions and grief for so long. I graduated from in April and I am doing well, working and going to school. This song brings back deep memories. Me and the other women in the home who really bonded together there, spent a lot of time in worship and will Reagan and the united pursuit were some of our most favourite to worship to together. Makes me think of my sisters... we got free of so much in that place. *emotional*

My favourite prayer of all - "STAY WITH ME, LORD", by the late Padre Pio, about how easily we succumb to sin and why all-the-more we need Christ's presence. Whether one is Catholic or otherwise, it's amazing to find such HONESTY from a celebrated and remarkably-gifted Saint. Julia Puspa Well this song was made to honor our Father, the Most High God. The heart is different when you sing to another god. The gospel is reserved for Jesus, no one else and no other person is involved but him so you’d have to change the name. The Gospel is the Good News. We were given the bad news through the Old Testament, where we see the law and nature of God that He revealed to the Israelites first, and then the rest of the world. Our perfect God, untouched by any sin, must punish those who are tainted by the sins we make (according to the Old Testament laws) and will honor those who aren’t. Because of His holiness, He won’t tolerate any blemish in His home in Heaven either, so the place that is completely separated from Him, is hell. The reason why it is hell, is that our God, who is all that is good in the world we live in now, will be away from us. And the bad news is that the moral law that God naturally keeps, is a law that our sinful flesh cannot stand to keep, we are unable through the fall of man and desire and crave sin without being changed by Him. In our state of sin, God will not tolerate your evil desires and you’re only place is separated from Him. *But the Good News (Gospel) is that our God loves us SO much, even while we are in our sin, that He came down personally and made a way through His only begotten Son Jesus, to have the chain and curse of sin and the perfect law that we can’t manage to keep, broken. Jesus’ blood on the cross paid the fine and satisfied the punishment that we deserved, for the all of our sins in the past, present, and future. *But we must accept and acknowledge the payment for it to be applied to us.* Without accept Jesus and his loving sacrifice, there is absolutely no other sacrifice that can clean us of our iniquity in the Father’s eyes. In our human state, we have a gift to choose, Jesus or the World, but whatever we choose will determine whether this Simple Gospel applies to us. The Simple Gospel (good news) is that our failures and blemishes are *completely* covered by Jesus’ sacrifice, so we can stand before the Father in Heaven and feel His love more abundantly. Whoever has seen the Son has also seen the Father, and whoever respects and loves the Son will be loved by the Father also. The Gospel tells us that our sins are forgiven from the day we accept Jesus, for all sins we ever committed and every sin we are making and will make in the future. Our only duty is repent when we notice we are sinning, and the Holy Spirit who is given to you when you accept Jesus and his payment will always nudge your conscience and urge you to repentance when you sin. Repentance involved a deep sorrow and regret and an acknowledgement of a need for forgiveness. If we ask, our Father is sure to forgive because we live in His example, and as He forgives all that ask for it sincerely from Him, we are to do so too. *The most important part of repentance is to turn your path away from the sin you once committed.* You can’t quickly repent and go back to doing it because that is taking advantage of the privilege we have to ask God for any sort of forgiveness because of His Son’s death, it’s disrespecting our Lord Jesus and mocking the death he died to free US. Once we start to make strong efforts to move past our fleshly desires (specifies all over the Bible), the Holy Spirit will be there to comfort you, encourage you, bless you, strengthen you, and most of all, deliver you. After struggling to resist a sin you are attracted to, you will be freed from all attraction to it; the Holy Spirit will give you a new heart, that is sensitive to sin and yearns more for God rather than sin. God is so so pleased when we desire Him more than our lives here on earth and all of the material wealth we strive to achieve. THAT CHANGE is what marks you as a born-again Christian believer. Jesus paid for your sins in the past, present, and future but that doesn’t mean you can sin freely and ask to be forgiven every once in a while. You have to turn away from that sin or your repentance is not complete. God will give you the strength to break all chains you have to that sin and you will be aided in all times of trouble. We may stumble some times but the Holy Spirit is there to pick us back up and bring us back to repentance if we have a sincere heart. Who the Son sets free, is free indeed :)
