@@Lady_EvelynThere's a few reasons I suppose. He was a founder of the non-aligned movement. He was both an authoritarian/dictator, a proponent of Arab socialism, a moderate muslim and had a deep interest in reform. It really fits.

I'm not sure about Brazil, but I've had them join the Comintern in my games a couple times too. I think it works this way: the Allies have already been defeated, but Brazil still declares war on Japan on historical and they need a faction to join. The US can't join the Comintern because a national spirit of theirs prevents joining non-democratic-led factions, but Brazil doesn't have that restriction (+they're non-aligned)

I honestly didn't know that Eritrea, Somalia and Mauritania were Arabic, my bad. I have almost zero knowledge of these countries.

@@theenforcerguy Mauritania and Western Sahara are Arabic ( and cores after uniting Arabia). Somalia is in the Arab league but not Arabic ( there are in the Arab League just for political reasons) and Eritrea is neither Arabic or in the Arab league

@@theenforcerguy in reality in these countries (except Mauritania and Western Sahara), Arabic is not the mother tongue of the majority of people but is used as a language of study, a language of writing, of social advancement and a means of communication between different tribes/peoples/ethnicities/groups (for example in Somalia their number is estimated at 3000). We can also consider that the Sahara is Arab because the only inhabitants who are the Tuaregs and the Bedouins consider themselves much more Arab than Malian, Nigerian or others. I already feel that some will tell me that this is not true, but in the Arab world since the 7th century we have had a proverb which says that Arabic is defined by language. The only real criterion to know if you are Arab is the language. Any attempt to define Arabs by ethnicity/race/culture is futile.
