1.6 is noteable for me because it (mostly) fixed the game breaking bug in which buildings straight up wont hire for no reason but it introduced a new game breaking bug in which migration will just stop happening for no reason paradox amirite

If i want to run a game after 1870 I just use a mod that makes every pop in a country the same culture. It makes the game play probably 6-10 times faster for me. It's a bit unbalanced but its works for the AI too and I think they get a lot more benefits than the player.
