Look again at the breaking of the walnuts. Pause just before it breaks it. You'll see that the walnut is already pre-cracked as are the others in the bowl. If they have to fake that, what else is BS about this thing. We know what kind of quality already comes out of there.

this is how robotics testing is done, very unsure why you are focused on "hitting" when the idea is how much pressure and at what speed is the robot capable of withstanding while retaining its balance. These are features it will need when deployed, quite self evidently.

In terms of technology, this is like when mankind invented the wheel, very primitive, of course, this is also insane, how far mankind has come. All these robots ever do is what they have been trained to do, there is no pure artificial intelligence, just old fashioned artificial intelligence, this because it does not know anything else beyond its training.

how people think this when the news and our lives are filled with an ever increasing amount of AI and robotics is beyond me. It is not fake. My degree programs are CompSci/AI and Mechatronics, and my focus is developmental robotics. This stuff is cutting edge, but very real. There are dozens of prototypes like this all over. Look at Boston Dynamics, they've had their robot "dogs" for years now and they were perfectly impressive as is. Robotics is not a new science by any measure. CGI? I don't get it lol. What sort of ignorance is this??

At some point soon, you'll be able to remove your brain and put it into one of these machines. (Like Robocop) Your brain will probably also be hooked up in some way to the internet along with Ai - if you wanted to. Maybe your little "BrainPod" could be interchangeable with other robot bodies too.

This is what robotics testing looks like the world over. Furthermore, It looks like BD copied this robot. Because this robot is already the product and BD robot is just a prototype and it is a long way from prototype to production! They definitely created the prototype at least a year before BD. The G1 only came out three weeks after the new Atlas was unveiled. Not enough time to build a new robot after that design. Unitree and Boston both built their bots at the same time and Boston showing their bot 3 weeks earlier. Ya'll tripping SO HARD in this comment section. That object can’t feel any pain,it has no feelings and no one is mean to it. They’re testing it’s standing and walking stability so that it won’t fall over every two seconds and can be a useful tool. Also, you’re a hypocrite saying: ahh, don’t hurt it, I’m on the side of robots, they have a soul! But you would buy a one instantly which was built with the only purpose of being our slave!
