Unitrol Omega 90 Dual Mode Siren Demo Part 1

Just demonstrating my Unitrol Omega DualMode siren using two Whelen SA-314 speakers and the 5000 controller in my POV.

You can own AND operate sirens and red and blue lights flashing lights on your private property* *provided you don't run them while you are on a public road.* I have 10 acres of private land,if I were driving on my property and noticed someone trespassing,I could legally use a siren on my private vehicle to warn them off. It also depends on your state,county,borough,whatev..but in Alaska,I can, on my property.

@FTBQuickfoot90 Some APD units have dual unitrols like this. "Code 3" or "Code Red" only refer to full emergency response. The segment you refer to is what you'll hear if APD is full lights/siren response and are clearing intersections with this siren equipped on whatever they're driving... usually just tied in via TAP2 to the horn button on the dash, they hit the horn, it takes care of alternating siren tones while they maneuver through an intersection... it does get your attention though.

This video is over 10 years old. Most likely he bought it from FS and not eBay. They discontinued the siren in 2016.
