The audio and production quality is so good, and the video is short and very informative. You deserve a lot more subs, subbed.

Saw this on Reddit, good tutorial. Short, to the point, and effective. KZbin needs more tutorials that don't talk down to the viewer like they're absolute beginners.

You can also add some splash particle effects on your ground, it will add some nice detail to your rain system.

Edit: I fixed my issues. I had to add a second camera on top of the particle. Great tutorial but as soon as I add the rain material, part of my rain hides behind my background ;__; I also can't see any particles in game view for some reason. I can only see it in the scene view. I can do everything else but I have those two issues. Anyone else?

This tutorial is simple and full of good information! Honestly some really great work! Is there a way you can show how to make like a 2D day/night cycle in a game? thanks!
@DevDuck5 жыл бұрын
That's an interesting idea - probably could make a video for it, but right off the top of my head I think you could write a script to change the intensity value of your global directional light between 1 and 0 over time. This would of course be a SUPER simple implementation of a 'day/night cycle', but I think it would be a decent place to start.

@DevDuck5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Not immediately off the top of my head. I believe you'd have to fiddle with the rotation of the particles and add an X vector to their velocity so that they're moving from one side to another.
