can we change the face model using custom model? or get some gesture event like open mouth, blink, etc?

You can change the face prefab to a custom model. But Unity still doesn't support gestures.

You need a Phone with AR core support

Default Face detection doesn't require any coding. So don't have the project saved.

There can be lot of reasons for this. Most of the time it's the version mismatch between AR foundation and Android SDK. Update Android SDK and AR foundation. Try after updating.
