I just want him to get his focus back. It seems like it's become a numbers game more than anything, with the composition and production not given the attention they need.

there will be like one good one and then twenty filler pieces, if that's what he needs to do to get the good one how am I to judge

I thought the same thing. It sounds beautiful nevertheless, but it kinda lacks some composition and shape. It becomes quite "jammy". @@VenLon

Buckethead ISNT your regular guitarist who just solos & solos & solos & solos & shreds & shreds & shreds constantly Cos he’s more of a musician than a guitarist Buckethead CAN & WILL shred & riff & do more ROCKIER & HEAVIER stuff & start soloing again but this is HIS MUSIC & just DOES what HE WANTS to do & if he WANTS to do it then HE WILL he just DOES what HE feels is RIGHT & if you DONT like it……..TOUGH cos it’s NOT your music it’s HIS the rockier & heavier stuff RETURN & the shredding will return just be PATIENT to be honest I DONT GIVE A FLYING FUCK what he does cos it’s all just TOO AWESOME for me to give a fuck really
@andrewpardue33245 ай бұрын
@@jordanvine9937 100% agree he is his own unique universe of guitar driven music and I love ❤️ all of it ! The acoustic serene introspective tracks are great, just different, shred every second gets boring too sometimes or you’re just not in that kind of mood when you play for at least a few hours everyday… If I want something heavier I just go back to those past Pikes / tracks that sound like that. There’s 100’s of them if you always keep digging, it’s one of my greatest sources of amusement! 😄 -Leave the Light On -Worms for the Garden -Claymation Courtyard -Flying Saucer - Nest Boxes etc. -Water Garden he has so much stuff it’s crazy. I’ve been listening to just the Pikes heavily for well over 10 years ( seen him live as a guest member of Primus in 1999 !) and still haven’t heard all of it ! I know I’ve missed a few gems 💎 along the way so I just go back through his older Pikes and dig until I find them ! Sometimes I do also like the Funk style ones that he has done as well , not as many of those but it’s cool when you find tracks that you instantly love but haven’t heard yet. 😄 I have no idea 🤷♂️ how anyone could ever feel let down in the slightest … I’ve been playing guitar 🎸 myself for over 38 years and 🎷 saxophone for 4 years before that. Those crazy shred songs come to you whenever they do… not as often as everyone thinks for the really wicked ones 😄 I wish, usually the best ones seem to come to me really late at night after midnight-3am right out of nowhere! and it doesn’t just happen like that everyday) and I love many different artists and styles as well but Bucket is the King 🎸👑 the simple fact is that Buckethead has way more incredible music out there in every style imaginable than anyone else who ever existed! No one else is even remotely close! I have many different guitar heroes and love many different styles of guitar , but to my personal thoughts on this , impressive as they may all be… Buckethead has smashed them all in the last 10years! 🤯 Next guy after BH for me and newer guitar guys on the scene is Jeff Loomis ( check out- JATO Unit, he’s playing with Arch Enemy now ) or Andy James! Boots on the Ground, or Falcon God , he is now with 5FDP that dude rips ! When I’m not sure what to listen to I’ll put on some oldschool Revend Horton Heat ( real name: Jim Heath) -turbocharged Rockabilly 😄 just because it’s so different than everything else I usually listen to and that Motherfucker can play! 😮 if you’ve never heard him and are looking for something in a totally different gear one day just for fun check him out, kinda like the Stray Cats / Brian Setzer on acid and speed! and it’s funny sometimes 😄 listen to “the Devil’s Chasing Me” ). I listen to the Pikes for at least 6-8 or usually even more hours straight everyday and I’m Never ever bored or disappointed. Quite the opposite really ! I’m only continually more amazed by his unbelievable skill and imagination everyday! 🪣🎸👑🤟🏻

Buckethead is the guitarist for me cos if I’m gonna listen to a guitarist I wanna listen to the BEST THERE IS & that’s Buckethead I’ve tried other guitarists but they just don’t sit right or feel right to me, so I’m just sticking to Buckethead from now on I don’t mind guitarists in bands but guitarists doing their own music like for example…….. Joe Satriani Steve Vai Paul Gilbert Tony MacAlpine Vinnie Moore & others you know guitarists on their own Yeah, If Buckethead isn’t playing the guitar it just doesn’t feel right to me So, I’m just sticking to Buckethead cos Buckethead is the guitarist for me Yeah, & I really don’t care what he does & if the next one is like this then……. SO FUCKIN WHAT!!!!!!

Yeah your right NatterNet he’ll probably skip that # I have been wondering about that as he gets closer to Pike 666 but 🤔for some reason I hope he doesn’t and drops really heavy full shred 1/2 hr track ( something sounding similar to Leave the Light On / Worms for the Garden / Miracle Molecule all combined 🤟🏻) called Hells 😈 Gate or something? 😄

Yeah , at least we won’t have to wait too long to find out! 😄 I love being a fan of Buckethead’s music, he is constantly always putting out more awesome tracks of almost every style imaginable so I mix up old and new ones according to what I feel like hearing in that moment. Sometimes I like the slower acoustic serene ones as it just puts my mind into another universe where time doesn’t matter and sometimes it’s the 1/2 hour shredfests one after the other for about 15 hours straight! 🤭 I love always having something new of his to listen to ( Endless thanks to Buckethead 🪣 and you as well NatterNet 🪄for spreading the magic!) as well as many older favourites . I’m a maintenance manager / worker of 4 apartment buildings so I’m always busy as all hell fixing constantly broken or worn out things or flipping apartments before new tenants move into them ( if it’s a full rip / complete Reno of an older unit we have a general contractor and a crew of guys that do those ones. ) I work a a ridiculous amount of hours pretty much all the time ( 15 hours just today, my record long shift is 32 hrs straight in one shot! 😮 ) I’m pretty much my own boss ( I have big bosses but I hardly ever actually see them and as long as it all gets done by me or whoever I have booked for tradesmen etc. nobody bothers me. I can figure out the hours I want to do whatever it is, I do about 6 different trades myself as well as book all the other trades guys to do repairs or other jobs etc. and I can do it all however I want ) I work alone almost all the time and some days ( that 32 hr pull in particular ) No way in hell I would have made it through that long ass day ( + all night and most of the next day ) without his music to keep me company while I slogged away! 😄 then I went home and crashed out hardcore for about 18 hours 😴 when I finally woke up I could hardly move to go and make some coffee ☕️ ! Felt like I was 150 years old and had just been hit by a train! 😄 Buckethead’s music makes my life much better in every possible way… I don’t think I could do what I have to do without him! I always have something to look forward to! 😊👍🏻 Buckethead Rules ! 🪣🎸👑🤟🏻

The only thing that takes me out of all these pikes are the awful drum samples. I can’t stand fake drums trying to sound real. Either use “drum machine” sounds or a real drummer. I understand why, and yes it’s easier. I don’t know why but drum samples have not come any further than the boss drum machines of the early 90s especially the ride cymbal. It’s a dead giveaway and takes me completely out of the moment. Like nails on a chalkboard.
