Functionalism in linguistics is the study of language from a functional perspective, looking at how language is used in real-world contexts. This video will explore and discuss the characteristics of functionalism and how they contribute to our understanding of language today. weaknesses 1-4 seem to be more fit for structuralism, not functionalism
