Universal Orlando 2022 UPDATES! Mardi Gras is Coming, NEW Merch, Shrek Props & MORE Park Hopping Fun

A fun visit to Universal Orlando in January 2022! We visit both parks for LOTS OF UPDATES, Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, to check out Mardi Gras construction updates and prep around the park, see lots of characters out and about, some big passholder updates, what's new and what's missing in the parks, and what's coming soon! We explore the Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop to see some of rhe Shrek 4-D ride props already appewring for sale, spend some time in Diagon Alley and watch a bit of the incredible The Tales of Beedle the Bard show, including those impressive puppets and props! A delicious dragon scale brew and a pasty of course, too, and some fire breathing dragon! We check out the newly opened All Hallows Voodoo Boutique that already has brand new Mardi Gras 2022 merchandise starting to show up and check out the gorgeous theming, and of course have an amazing ride on VelociCoaster! A fun, low crowd, gorgeous January day at Universal Orlando, hope you enjoyed all the updates, are excited for what's to come, and of course enjoyed the sunshine and Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure vibes coming though the screen!

I have to agree, I’m not overly excited about another Minions attractions. I hardly ever do the one that’s there. But I’ll give it a chance once it opens, maybe it will be really neat. It also doesn’t hurt to have more for kids, but I have to wonder how many kids love the minions nowadays? I honestly don’t know.

Oh i know, that's my biggest complaint about Fender lately, you have to ask "which Version of the Strat do you have" this day and age. Its a 1989 Eric Clapton Blackie model, lace sensors, maple fretboard, vintage hardware, had it since I was 15, sounds like gold, love it!

I’m so excited for Mardi Gras at Universal!! We checked it out last year for the first time and it was such a blast!! I’m so bummed they won’t have a lanyard for the food kiosks this year… it was such a great deal!! But either way I’m so super pumped for the festival :) I’ll be there next month 🤗 also, the shrek glasses were such cute souvenirs to take from the ride on the last ride :)

I booked a reservation to be on a float for Mardi Gras on March 4th, I'm so excited. Now I just I better get busy planning a trip, LOL. I most of the time couldn't be there to get the buttons and magnets, but I really enjoyed it when I did. I hope they come up with something great. I'm actually looking forward to a Minions attraction, I really hope it is a ride, ride and not a simulation something. Just glad it is not a store. Thanks for the great video.

Thank you for the update. Ugh. I was at Universal Studios last year for Mardi Gras. Seems to me, the Invisible Man is the prime suspect! Haha. Gonna guess they’re doing some statue maintenance. At least I hope so. As a kid I didn’t apppreciat the Universal monsters. As an adult, my girlfriend and I can’t get enough. Best horror is very simple. These actors had to do more with less. Btw during Halloween Horror nights, the Bride of Frankenstein Lives haunted house was my personal fav. It had an organic sequel.
