I was there last Tuesday. I felt like they have kind of given up on this park and funnel all funds to IOA. There’s a lot of empty space and rides/ experiences that are not up to scratch. IOA is 10x better. As I’ve been going there since it’s opening, I still love the place and hope it regenerates to its former glory. Thanks for the quality video. It helps with my post holiday/vacation blues.

It's possible that major updates to Studios is taking a backseat to the construction of Universal's Epic Universe, which is scheduled to open in 2025. Big progress is being made at the construction site. I wouldn't be surprised if we see improvements to the Studios side once Epic Universe opens. Don't give up on Universal Studios!
