The golden age of Universal Studios Florida. When the resort actually went above and beyond to challenge Disney at the theme park game. Now they just put Harry Potter in everything, and keep the same junk they had for decades because they don't want Disney to get the Marvel and The Simpsons rights.

Well to be fair, the work they've done with Harry Potter is nothing to scoff at. As one of the biggest literary and film properties of all time, Universal has done their due diligence in making it as detailed and immersive as possible, in a way that pleases HP fans and fits well with the resort's other attractions. Disney WISHES they could have what Universal has right now. Yes, some rides are trash (F&F and Fallon) and they've had to sacrifice a lot of classics, but what matters is what they replace those classics with, and imo, most of the replacements they've put in over the years (Mummy, Simpsons, Gringotts, Hagrid's, Blue Man Group) are more than suitable. Besides, they haven't forgotten the classics, as some have already made a return to the resort (Kong at Skull Island and Ghostbusters at HHN)!

I miss the Back to the Future ride. That first sliming shown is from one of the You Can't contests; the little kid got it three times in a row, and liked it! I remember the commercial for it, but can't find it on youtube (weird, since everything else is on this site)

hmm....i went there a few days ago and saw poseidon's fury. it looked normal, like no consctruction had been or was going to be made to tear it down. and im pretty sure the harry potter section is closer to dueling dragons, not poseidons fury.

I don't know about Ghostbusters, because in 1993 the attraction opened and it closed in 1996 when the movie Twister was released. They should bring back Twister and Back to the Future
