Also worth noting, Wixams, which is right next to "The Field" are currently building a train station on the Thameslink line, but has just been put on hold as its a two platform station, which was planned to expand to 4 platforms if the Universal park was green lit. With it being on hold, it seems as though this will now go ahead, and the council will now be planning on extending Wixams station to 4 platforms. There's also suggestion that in early Feb, the news will break with the go ahead. I live nearby and have been following this project on a local facebook group lol. What a beautiful field this will become!

I'd like to see a Lord of the Rings mine train coaster that is big enough to rival Big Thunder Mountain, themed around Moria or Minas Morgul (lots of ominous green lighting) Moria would need a lot of indoor section but with the latter you could include an underground section themed around Shelob's lair And stick it next to Barad-dur drop tower with the Eye of Sauron on the top

Sounding more positive as time goes on, heard the news about infrastructure improvements. Good to hear, am so excited to see and hear more about this project. Cheers for creating this video, really enjoyed and look forward to episode 3. Think it will be a park with a good mix both outside attractions aswell indoors? Maybe a few indoor immersive lands? Or under roof lands? As long as they are open all year around, prices are ideal? Bring it on, hoping land wise we do get Harry Potter World which could happen if a deal was made with bringing in Scooby Doo & DC Themed attractions & areas? As thats what I would love to see come along? Would love to see Harry Potter World with Hadgrids motorbike coaster here in the UK but a unique version, would love to see Beijing Jurassic World dark ride come over aswell but again a different version? Hoping we get a full big studios land at the front of park with IP's around British shows, movies etc even a studio tram tour featuring IP's from Harry Potter, Peaky Blinders, 007 James Bond and more. Have loads of things I would love to see which I have given feedback to Universal themselves, but cheers for reading & hope we get a full green light & final decision soon. 😀👍

I have a question….. when universal arrives in the uk, how do we feel this will effect the other uk parks? Do you think we would loose a few due to fall in visitor numbers? Will the small parks end up closing? We also have other attractions close to the new park, Woburn safari, go ape, Bletchley park, xscape MK, Theatre MK, Gulivers Land……. Will this also bring more footfall for these areas and don’t forget if your travelling to stay outside of the resort, we have a centre parcs up the road .

Got to hope we get a version of Universal Hollywood's Fast N Furious drift coaster. Then some indoor water barrel ride, themed to one of the Lord of Rings films. Then definitely Universal monsters land with different rides etc to Orlando. Dr. Wilfred Glenn, aka the werewolf of London and perhaps van helsing. Perhaps even the minions omnimover themed to Wallace and Gromit.

Rides wise. Make us stand out. I personally think we need an area for nostalgia, bring a back to the future themed dark ride or coaster, remake the ET bike ride but upto date, jaws can be built indoors, king Kong, earthquake. The majority of these are indoor attractions, but back to the future can also be an indoor coaster. I don't want shit like james bond, I'd love LOTR lol

if Universal doesn't want to copy any Orlando rides but does want to keep tapping into Nintendo's success in the parks, I wonder if they'll 1. Create a new Pókemon land such it's just such a massive IP 2. Do Super Nintendo World again but either with a new mix of IP or a unique Mario land 3. Try out some smaller Nintendo franchises like Splatoon/Animal Crossing/Pikmin

The talks is not only about tax incentives of the theme park that Universal will be building but also infrastructure costs around the site which will be massive. It's pretty good news that both sides are slowly concluding their negotiations positively. This will be massive for the whole town of Bedford to have something of this magnitude in the area and Anglia region.

I’m actually begging for a Jurassic World land and then I’d love a little bit where it’s got the old information centre and an old Jeep etc like in Jurassic World - disused, some raptors maybe in there? A dark ride? I think that would be sick. Also sorry Dan I disagree with Harry Potter - it’s a British story I just think it would be a serious miss to not have a Harry Potter section, but because you’re starting from scratch you could really plan it out. I also think given how successful Scarefest, Fright Night, Saw, Swarm to name a few are - UK audiences love a scary vibe so I think Dark Universe would fit in a treat. Give me that creature from the black lagoon ride! I love the idea of some UK IP but also you could go down the route of Thorpe and partner with Blumhouse maybe for a little Blumhouse section as we do love the horror vibes here.

Thinking laterally- Given Nottingham is up the road would be good to get some 40k IP in there. Maybe something live action… with some astartes stomping about and inquisitors being a nussance to customers accusing them of heresy. I think there will be a different Harry Potter land based on the upcoming HBO tv series, if that becomes successful. They can sort of reboot with a brand new hogwarts castle and hogsmede. That will differentiate from the Warner bros studio tour and Orlando.
