I was just there today with my boyfriend! We didn't even really intend to go, but we were curious how much parking was. When we found out it was free we decided to check it out. My sister was super excited when I told her I was there, ended up buying some of the face masks for her and my family :) It was very easy to keep distance at opening (12:00 on a Tuesday), though the heat is somewhat intense lol. Restaurants weren't really open except for one or two, but most shopping was. Super cool!

I was there the same day at around the same time. I honestly felt safer there than I do at the supermarket. The constant cleaning, everyone wearing masks, temperature checks... Add in the low crowds and it is the perfect place to visit if you need to get out of the house. I did a little shopping, ate a doughnut and felt like things were normal for a few hours.

lol I have not watched this yet -- I am just about to watch now. But you read my mind. When Gov. Newsom and Mayor Garcetti started re-closing things again in the last couple of days, I was thinking two things: 1) I hope Downtown Disney can at least be open on Disneyland's birthday, and 2) I hope Best Life & Beyond finally gets to CityWalk before it's forced to close! I knew that Dylan, Peter & Kitra, the Five Fires team and others had been to CityWalk to do vlogs. I was afraid the place would be shut down before you got there! You made it there just in time.

I am not a huge fan of Universal (due to their motion sickness inducing rides LOL) but I do like their merchandise, it's almost as good as Disney. However, I do feel Disney has a MUCH larger selection to choose from. Already been to DTD and hope to go back as well as visit Universal City Walk before the gov shuts those down too. :(

Hi, April. I am a motion sickness gal , too. I agree. I just love the tram ride and Halloween horror nights. The motion sickness rides make me so sick. The times I have gone to Disneyland My brother warned me not to ride the rides at Galaxy’s Edge because I was going to be sick. I was so very bummed. I was in line with my family but I asked the Cast member if I could just take a picture on the ride. He was kind enough to let me do that . Did you experience motion sickness there, too. @@professorruthie8367 Actually I can handle both rides in Galaxy's Edge. The only rides I can't do at the DLR are Star Tours and Goofy's Sky School. My favorite ride is Guardians of the Galaxy which a lot of people don't like... so it depends on the ride mechanisms as to whether it bothers me. At Universal I can't do Simpsons and Transformers without needing Advil afterwards. I can kind of do Minions - I think I tolerate it because I love the movies...and I like both Harry Potter rides but I can only do the Forbidden Journey once or twice in a row... once I did 3x in a row and had a horrible headache the rest of the day.
