In my personal opinion, Paul Walker was the most handsome man that I've ever seen. Till this day, i haven't seen a man as good looking as he was. He literally had everything going for him. I'm not saying that there aren't good looking actors out there, there are many, but for me - he's it.

@@shortyfly4929 the turbo diesel engine ramp cars with the exoskeletons all - wheel turning crab darting side to side launching oncoming cars in London, especially flipping Brian's BMW in the tunnels in Fast & Furious 6 was one of the best action sequences in the series. Dom and Brian wrecking Rio with the safe tethered to their cop chargers in Fast Five was probably the overall best sequence in all the movies. The actual stunts and the physics behind the maneuvering of the cars with the safe were pretty close to being scientifically accurate. An honourable mention in my opinion is the opening scene during the 4th movie, Fast and Furious where Dom and Letty steal the oil tankers from the moving truck in the black Buick with help from their Dominican friends. How Dom perfectly times his launch with the oncoming bouncing tanker to squeeze through from underneath it was also brilliantly filmed.

One of my best memories in life is when me and me best friend went to watch this in theatres when i was 13. It was all anyone was talking about, and to say it changed everything would be an understatement. This single movie transformed American youth culture at the time like no other movie before it. Suddenly everyone was into cars, it brought the custom import scene to small towns and large cities alike. Almost overnight, on Friday and Saturday nights across America, large groups of primarily young people began to hangout in parking lots at night, with their cars. An entire auto manufacturer industry was significantly boosted at the time, as was general public intrest in racing. Suddenly you began to see customized cars everywhere. This phenomenon can still be observed to this day. And has become a very large, and in my experience a very cool and welcoming community, of American car culture. It all started with this movie. These elements had existed before the movie of course, but it was this movie that would bring it to the forefront of American youth culture.

2:17 thank you Paul Walker, Craig Liberman, and Rob Cohen for this scene. if it weren't for you guys creating this scene i wouldn't have my Gen 2 GS Eclipse. in 2002 i was 2 and i watched the first movie on my mothers lap after she saw a trailer for 2 Fast on TV, my eyes went wide seeing Brian's car and i just pointed at the Eclipse and bounced in excitement cause i didnt have the words to describe how i felt. after a few years of watch 2 Fast religously everyday when it came out on VHS in 2004 we rewatched the first movie and my words to my mom were, "mommy i want that car when i grow up" and at 22 i made that happen

I remember seeing that opening scene for the first time when was about 5-6 years old. The movie was showing on TV at the time and I was sitting in my grandma's living room, when my dad switched to the channel showing the movie. I will never forget that green neon underglow. Have loved JDM's ever since.
