@@shortyfly4929 the turbo diesel engine ramp cars with the exoskeletons all - wheel turning crab darting side to side launching oncoming cars in London, especially flipping Brian's BMW in the tunnels in Fast & Furious 6 was one of the best action sequences in the series. Dom and Brian wrecking Rio with the safe tethered to their cop chargers in Fast Five was probably the overall best sequence in all the movies. The actual stunts and the physics behind the maneuvering of the cars with the safe were pretty close to being scientifically accurate. An honourable mention in my opinion is the opening scene during the 4th movie, Fast and Furious where Dom and Letty steal the oil tankers from the moving truck in the black Buick with help from their Dominican friends. How Dom perfectly times his launch with the oncoming bouncing tanker to squeeze through from underneath it was also brilliantly filmed.

One of my best memories in life is when me and me best friend went to watch this in theatres when i was 13. It was all anyone was talking about, and to say it changed everything would be an understatement. This single movie transformed American youth culture at the time like no other movie before it. Suddenly everyone was into cars, it brought the custom import scene to small towns and large cities alike. Almost overnight, on Friday and Saturday nights across America, large groups of primarily young people began to hangout in parking lots at night, with their cars. An entire auto manufacturer industry was significantly boosted at the time, as was general public intrest in racing. Suddenly you began to see customized cars everywhere. This phenomenon can still be observed to this day. And has become a very large, and in my experience a very cool and welcoming community, of American car culture. It all started with this movie. These elements had existed before the movie of course, but it was this movie that would bring it to the forefront of American youth culture.

Can only respect Rob Cohen direct this first installment. Can see they direct the car chases mostly practically and kind of cool and stylish. The only quarter mile race at the beginning with Dom and Brian too CGI heavy 🤦♂️ cant help it though.

Most people don't know this. But "NOS" prevents you from spinning out while driving your car in a straight line. /s
