I tried to read the first book and it sucked. Terrible writing, boring af.doesnt make sense at all.. ana's character is boring and annoying and shallow and there are many contradictions... cristian doesnt seem like a real character... seems like some fantasy inside a womens head. And the chemistry between them doesnt exist in the books so why would peoplr expect it to be perfect on screen??. I couldnt read it past few chapters. The movies are great though.

Not their fault. The book reflects his journey, his pain, evolution wih flaws. Same for Ana. Whereas in the movie, it is just Ana evolving whereas Christian just "pops" up. His pain and struggles just become "reasons" rather than an active experience affecting both of them. The movie had the potential to stir more, childhood abuse from parents is real, instead of dwelling there and his turmoil,something that he wanted to work out of, they just made it a story of the past. I guess it then would've been a braver move,to show his scars than to just move past them.

It's a great trilogy...The50 Shades franchise. A real situation, one can comprehend. Good lines, good acting good chemistry..... A trilogy to add to my collection. My flowers project reflected in the initial titles sequence. Ideas are out there.

He's perfect for christian grey both are perfect for the role they did well ,, I loved and still think it's the best , I watched it like i dont know how much times lol, the chemistry and the beauty of it is how he wasnt looking for love but found it in a simple virgin girl trying to get by so to speak and he loved her and protected her at all cost

Totally 💯 agree Jamie is the PERFECT man for the role as Christian both him and Dakota are the PERFECT pair. I am obsessed with the trilogy I’ve watched it a million times.

every month...awesome trilogy. Great love story. Wish they could do other movies together. I enjoy them as a cinema couple. There will always be hater fans, but there will always be great fans.

I don't know why he is not cast in similar type of roles after Fifty Shades... He is good looking and perfect for glamorous roles. There is no point in undermining his good looks which happened in all his subsequent films.

I like the book's version of these scene better. In the book, he offers her a ride to the photography show and they go AS FRIENDS. Here, we already find out that he bought the Anastasia portraits and then he comes slinking up to her....like he was stalking her. It gives a much more negative vibe, before he wants to reconcile with her.
