Well the 'absence' of gravitational waves' at 10:50 mark didn't come true did it? Not consistent with zero after all. LIGO feb 11 2016 they were detected.

Dr. Turok, I love your lectures and have benefitted greatly from them. One question, though. In this talk you seem to say that gravitational waves do not exist, while in others you say they do. Do you actually owe Dr. Hawking 200 Canadian Dollars?

he's only talking about gravitational waves generated by inflation, which should be detectable in the microwave background!

Yes that is true, but his videos are 4 to 7 years apart with also comes with loads of new scientific data inbetween. Hence why the contradictions sometimes, but he also mentions it in this video specificaly.

Really the universe is more and more mysterious. Reminds me of what Christ said to his apostles “are you still without perception?” Physicists need to study people like St. John of the cross or st Teresa of Avila. Or Meister Eckhart. Profoundly perceptive people.

Yes, it makes you wonder just how on Earth Jesus managed to find such a deeply idiotic bunch of followers. It may even have been the case that only God himself could have managed such a feat. What does this 8ndicate? The oxygen levels in the room are low because the gas ratio is incorrect and dangerous to health.
